Pure Casein & Whey Powder – How to Build Muscle Mass With Proteins

by John

Pure Casein is what most bodybuilders and weightlifters are looking for when they start their muscle building regimen. The benefits of pure casein protein are too many to mention. But let’s talk about why pure casein is so important. Casein protein has a profound effect on your body both during and after your workout that your body requires to sustain for at least six to eight hours while you sleep without food to digest.

This is because casein contains the full amounts of all the essential amino acids that need to be consumed if you want to recover fully from intense physical activities. If you were to ingest any other protein source during this recovery time period, it would likely be less than half of the casein level which would hinder your ability to build lean muscle. In reality, a complete release of amino acids into your bloodstream can actually last up to 7 hours post-consumption of pure casein protein! So how does this impact you? It greatly depends on the intensity level of your physical activity during the day and/or evening.

Let’s say you lift weights at the gym for an hour or so and you do three to four sets. That’s going to give you a complete release of the casein and amino acids over the course of eight hours. Now imagine if you took a protein shake or bar after you worked out for an hour or so and you consumed only one ounce of pure casein and two ounces of whey protein. That would give you a protein breakdown of only thirty seconds and would hardly provide you with the energy you require for a solid workout.

A proper workout routine is the key to maximizing your results. There are many bodybuilders and powerlifters who recognize the importance of a high-quality protein supplement (such as Pure Casein) in order to reach their goals. However, if you’re just beginning to follow a workout regimen and are not yet following a professional-style training program, it’s important that you consume a protein-based product that is formulated using pure casein and a pure protein blend that will provide the amino acids your body needs to repair muscles. This is called a post-workout supplement and is usually available over the counter at any health food store. You should take one post-workout dietary supplement per day for the best results possible.

If you workout six days a week, you should make sure that you are consuming enough pure casein and pure whey protein to ensure that your muscle tissue can absorb them effectively. If you’re not eating enough pure casein and/or pure whey, you won’t be absorbing enough amino acids to promote a high rate of protein synthesis. A post-workout supplement with a blend of whey and casein can give you the best possible post-workout results, because a high rate of protein synthesis has been reached. A whey protein isolate is also beneficial, because it contains all of the essential amino acids that your body requires in order to properly repair muscle tissue after intense workouts. The isolate can be mixed with water or other protein beverages to reach your goal of maximum protein synthesis.

There are many great options for post-workout sports supplements on the market today. Two of the most popular brands, USPLabs and Optimum Health & Fitness, both feature protein powders that feature a blend of whey and casein. Each of these brands also offers a variety of different flavors that cater to a variety of palettes. If you do a lot of research online, you can find brand names like Pure Protein and No-Xplode that can be used combined with other products in order to customize your protein powder experience. For those who are serious about bodybuilding or strength training and wish to achieve the greatest amount of muscle gain and mass, protein powder is definitely the way to go!
