Is Creatine Cheating? – Common Myths Revealed

by John

The subject of is creatine cheating? It has been on the lips of body builders and others for quite some time now. It has been suggested that using creatine supplements can lead to an increase in weight if taken in excessive amounts. There are many debates going on about this topic. One thing is certain though. Everyone agrees that there is a possible problem with using this supplement.

is creatine cheating

With all of this in mind, many wonder is creatine a cheater? Many athletes have used it and swear by it. They claim to see amazing results and build lean muscle extremely fast. Some even say they have ripped their bodies open and gained many pounds in a matter of days.

The question is this. Is this something that is real or is it simply a myth perpetuated by those who wish to profit from it? There is no doubt that creatine can help you to build lean muscle mass and burn fat but you have to remember that not everyone will gain the same amount. This is a supplement and no two individuals will experience the same results. Therefore, you cannot say that creatine is cheating simply because you saw someone who seemed to have achieved success.

What is creatine doing? Protein is the supplement that the body takes to provide the necessary materials to repair muscles. Athletes need protein in order to get stronger. For the average person, getting enough protein each day is very difficult to do. This is where creatine steps in and provides the answer.

If the question is creatine cheating then the answer is definitely yes. You do need to be careful with this substance. Many people who take too much will find that they suffer from cramps, diarrhea, bloating, and heart burn. If you experience these symptoms you should consult your doctor immediately and get off of the supplement.

The big question is what does this all mean to you? While it is true that creatine supplements can make you stronger you need to remember that everyone is different. Some people will get stronger very quickly while others will take longer to see significant results. If you are someone who wants faster results then you should talk to your doctor before taking creatine. If you are someone who just wants to be healthy then creatine is a great supplement to take.
