Is Creatine Worth It? Some Answers To A Common Question

by John

is creatine worth it

Is Creatine Worth It? It seems that everwhere I turn, there’s someone asking that question. Whether its online, at the gym, in the store – everyone seems to have a question about creatine. The reason why is clear – creatine is everywhere. It is a nutrient that can really boost your workout results.

Most people tend to laud creatine for the wonderful effects that it has on their body, while others slam it as the major danger that it is haunted them by. In this article, i be getting really down and dirty about what creatine has in Store for us. Creatine is created when our bodies break down the amino acids (proteins) that make up our muscles. The amino acids are then turned into glucose, which is used by our muscle tissue.

In many ways, our bodies work like a machine. We need fuel (energy), and our muscles require energy (work). The catch is that, as we age, our body stops producing as much of these fuel nutrients, leaving us at a disadvantage. For many people who are approaching middle age, this is where creatine comes in.

Creatine is a supplement that can really increase our muscle mass, while simultaneously lowering our body fat percentage. But why is this? Simply put, your muscle tissue needs more fuel than just plain old water to function properly. If you were to consume the same volume of water as you now do, but at only half the amount of overall muscle mass, your body would likely fail. This is why so many people (and athletes) swear by the idea of supplementing with creatine.

But what about the side effects of creatine? One of the common side effects is high blood pressure, although this is actually one of the side effects that is commonly experienced by people who take the recommended dosage. If you experience this symptom, it is best not to stop taking the supplement, but to consult your doctor immediately. High blood pressure is caused by a large build up of calcium in the arteries.

Creatine is a supplement that you should seriously consider if you want to increase your strength and size. Although it may raise your energy levels slightly, there are some serious side effects that you should be aware of before you start consuming it. High blood pressure, for example, is a very real possibility. However, if you take monohydrate healthy supplement, chances are good that you will not experience this side effect.
