Creatine is released a bit later, so it’s a good idea to take it right after your workout.

Some people have an intolerance to certain foods, such as glutamine. If you’re trying to get a dose of this as a sports supplement, check to see if your diet is a problem. Many athletes make the mistake of loading up on glutamine right before a competition, causing the excess amount to be absorbed into their body, causing an adverse reaction.

Another question, when to take glutamine and creatine is this: when should you not take them? The answer is simple. Do not take glutamine and creatine if you are ill, pregnant or breast feeding. These supplements can cause birth defects. They can also adversely affect an expectant mother’s breast milk if they’re taken during a time when breast feeding is not possible. Excessive use can also harm an unborn child, making for difficult births and possible miscarriage.

When to take glutamine and creatine also depends on your lifestyle. The two go hand in hand. It’s a good idea to eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly and get regular sleep. It’s also a good idea to avoid taking large amounts of these supplements. Taking them in large quantities, can interfere with your medication or even make your illness worse.

One question that doesn’t get enough answers is when to take glutamine and creatine as part of a weight loss program. Glutamine and creatine help boost energy and speed up the metabolism. They do this by replenishing the nutrients depleted during physical activity. This makes perfect sense when you think about it. You want the energy you’ve just used up to get the most out of the exercise you did. By taking glutamine and creatine with this type of exercise, you’ll be able to burn up all those calories without exhausting yourself.
